CVTC STEM Race Camp
Date: 6.27.2016
Get ready, set, race! The 2016 STEM Race Camp will introduce students to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math principles that will be applied to enhance performance of 1/10 scale Radio-Controlled (RC) cars. Students will work in teams to apply STEM principles, and measure performance in a racing environment. This year’s camp will focus on two themes: 1) environmental sustainability and stewardship by guiding students through the process of assessing advanced alternative energy technologies (fuel cell, solar, and wind) to power electric cars, and application of modern engineering principles of CAD design and rapid prototyping to introduce students to modern manufacturing.
